ABOUT
Carola Caggiano is a Spanish-Argentine sound designer and musician based in Berlin since 2004.
She studied geology at the Complutense University of Madrid and at the Freie Universität of Berlin.
Years of studying geology deepened her curiosity about waves, matter, space and in particular time and the universe. After finishing her master’s degree, her passion for music led her to further explore these scientific parameters through creativity and collective projects. Her sound is inspired a little by her half-knowledge of the cosmos, physics and science fiction, but above all by her fantasies about them.
As a sound designer she has collaborated with artists such as Antonia Baehr, Latifa Laâbissi, Nadia Lauro, Ola Maciejewska, Juan Dominguez and the musical theater collective Hauen und Stechen, among others. As a musician she is part of the duo TRANSPORT with the multi talented singer / artist Lucile Desamory.
She is currently working on her first solo album – GALGA
